With Spring Break in the rearview mirror, we have returned to the grind - but not without some fun & accomplishment
We put some time into our Game Room and got to decorating with some antique pennants (big thanks to Bill Sr for finding, cleaning & shipping them to Texas)
Wall art celebrates our favorite retro games and we welcomed back some antique furniture
Mission accomplished!?!? We are spending record amounts of time playing MarioKart and enjoying the new space - on St Patrick's Day Taylor literally slayed the beast in one of the most difficult games we have come across - Dragon's Lair
Sports Scene
High School Soccer wrapped up at a local sports Catherderal - the Highland Park High School - it was a hyped up event as Jordan & a teammate came into the finale tied for the most goals on the JV team

The game would not live up to the hype as bad weather would end it in the 1st half after Wakeland took an early lead (no goal from either of the top-scoring players) - during the game delay, we found a cool momento to a famous Highland Park alumni (another famous alumni not pictured, Jordan Spieth)
Taylor displayed her versatility during a strong Winter Guard season
Easter Weekend
We made a bunny cake, shared traditional Easter baskets,
and went to church!
Accomplishments:
Mom, the girls, and friends at a National Charity League event,
Taylor continued her streak in the National Honor Society,
Jordan was awarded Most Valuable Offensive Player for JV Soccer, then scored a job at Kidzania for the Summer,
and Snickers showed some restraint when he crossed paths with a random turtle in the neighborhood!
As J&T approach driving age, we keep practicing and have scored "Family Car # 1"
