Summer vacation was upon us - for 11 days we would not be in Frisco Texas! 1st stop was St Clair Michigan. We were excited to connect with other "Kalmars"
Morning sunlight reflects off the pond
We made several trips to downtown St Clair and enjoyed the Boardwalk
The St Clair River is a major shipping channel connecting Canada and the U.S.
Just off from the Boardwalk is the spot where Dad proposed to Mom in the Summer of 2000 - we were happy it was still there
The St Clair Rotary Club does an excellent job keeping it maintained
We headed into Port Huron to check out a local hotspot - the Raven Cafe
Awesome place to hang out with the Twins + great Coffee Shakes
It's a highlight to visit Aunt Bonnie and check out some horses - Mario the Clydesdale is bigger than ever!

...and he gets a big hug from Aunt Bonnie
We were thankful to get together with all the Michigan Kalmar's during the trip and enjoyed a nice Conservative Pro-Trump atmosphere

On the 4th of July, we headed into the heart of downtown St Clair for the annual fireworks show
On our way to Ocean City for our 2nd leg of the trip, we made time to stop in Stewartstown, PA to visit our 1st home - much had changed since we lived there 2001-04 but it was nice to take a look at the place...
