As much as we loved hanging out on the beach all day, we had to get out and experience some of the local flavor in the Perdido Key & Orange Beach area. We were excited to go to Adventure Island and squeeze in 18 holes of Miniature Golf after a great dinner at the Hurricane (if you ever eat there, get the Blue Cheese Queso w/ Kettle Chips)! We got to catch an amazing Blue Angels show in neighboring Pensacola after touring the National Naval Aviation Museum. Then, back by popular demand, we took a Dolphin Tour!
The Miniature Golf game was more of a mutual admiration society as we didn't keep score and everyone got a hole-in-one!

These girls are the bomb!
A variety of shots in cockpits of various planes
Mom & girls find a soldier to go to a show with and later they try to keep cool under the blazing sun waiting to get into the air show
Just before the start of the festivities and we're roasting in the hot Florida sun
Hats off at takeoff
Here are a variety of shots from the show which was awesome & loud!
Towards the end of the week we were back to Orange Beach for a morning Dolphin Cruise - we met a variety of other people on the tour - many of which lived within a short drive of us in Texas - we even remembered to get a family picture at the bow of the boat
Dolphins surround this small "shrimpin' boat"
More Dolphin shots...
The cruise & the bay was a hotbed wildlife - we saw many Pelicans on our journey
They also brought up a Crab trap - Jordan & Taylor were some of the few kids who handled the Blue Crab
Even Dad got hands on
Great trip - Mom & Dad even talked about leaving their careers behind to move to the beach and run a Snow Cone Hut & be first mate for Dolphin Tour Boat - those dreams were not to be and we're all back to the grind!
