Summer is chugging along here in North Texas - but it really never felt like it started until Taylor ditched her cast in mid June. We crossed some milestones off the list including Ear Piercing, Field Day, Last Day of School, and a 4th of July pool party. 1 week until our family vacation to Perdido Key, FL!

Taking it easy on Field Day but still able to hang the laundry!
Jordan bounces - bundle up, it was about 30 degrees colder this year!
At the Mall we checked out some cool Lego replicas of DC landmarks
All the girls got their hands dirty with some summer "patio gardening"
Last day of school and the girls are cleaning up on awards & gifts
Hanging out with friends for the last time this year...
...and at the local Children's Theater where we saw Cinderella
Ironically after a trip to Petco, we stumbled across "Henry" the Turtle in our alley cooking on the pavement. We rescued & later temporarily lost him in our car before finding him a home at a local pond where he was greeted by no less then a dozen turtle heads as he bolted into the water!
June 17th - Free from the cast!
We had a great dinner at Outback Steakhouse and were approached by "Ray" an insanely talented balloon artist, during dinner. Amazingly detailed Parrot & Penguin!
