Greetings from sunny North Texas! Where do you go when it's sunny? The museum of course! Taylor's still sporting her cast so we weren't yet ready for "fun in the sun." So we took a ride to downtown Dallas for our first visit to the Perot Museum and were not disappointed! There has been a big surge in Dinosaur interest in our house so the old bones were a big hit. Each floor had a different theme including the Earth & Solar System, exotic rocks & gems, the human body, etc. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday.
We recently watched Jurassic Park so the Dinosaurs were a must see

Taylor shows off her masterpiece while Jordan builds hers
Gorgeous gems on the left & soaring like an Eagle on the right
The museum had lots of fun physical things to do like getting touchy/feely with different rock textures, working a "live" oil rig...
...and feeling the effects of a 9.0 Earthquake!
The girls go underground for a day in the life of a Prairie Dog
Jordan gets a strong whiff of some Coyote urine!
I've heard that "Honey Badgers don't care!"
In the sports arena Taylor looks a little anxious as she challenges a T Rex in a 20yd dash! Jordan claims to have beat the beast in what was a photo finish!
One last picture in the lobby before we call it a day
What a great time and we actually learned something!
