Days 2 & 4 of the trip were spent at Magic Kingdom. On Tuesday we once again had a well mapped out day and Fast Passes for the super busy Snow White's Mine Train and a visit with Frozen's Anna and Elsa. Tuesday we also focused our time on Fantasy Land, Independence Square, and Tomorrow Land. The park was busy and real hot through the early afternoon. A short afternoon shower cooled things off and it stayed dry until dinner.
The girls find a surprise in the palms of their hands
We hurried to Belle's Enchanted Storytelling and were not disappointed - The girls enjoyed telling a story with the Princess
Next on the agenda - "Follow the White Rabbit"
The crown jewel of visits - Anna & Elsa - Mom really had to coordinate with her travel agent to score this Fast Pass! Jordan & Taylor take advantage of the time by chatting it up, getting their signatures & a picture
Waiting in line we climbed...
...cooled off with a mister fan...
...and shoved haunted books back on the shelf
Mom & Taylor pose as Buzz Lightyear took a brief pause
Dad & Jordan take aim
At dinner we had a great time with Winnie the Pooh & friends!
Mom joined Eeyore and encouraged him to cheer up
Piglet gets a hug
Tigger takes a break from bouncing & bends down for a memorable moment
The girls enjoy some neon in the Disney night
One tired girl looks at her Dad as we get on Pirates of the Caribbean for the last ride of the night
Bright-Eyed & Bushy-tailed we hit Disney on Day 4 an hour early enjoying "Magic Hours" - the park opened at 8am for guests on campus and we enjoyed the light crowd with a quick picture. We had another real hot and sunny morning and then evaded a round of thunderstorms when we took the bus back to our hotel in the afternoon for a quick nap. We later returned to the park after a character dinner at the Grand Floridian
Then a famous landmark reminds us that there was a "mountain" not yet climbed
We walked right on the ride with the light crowds and the girls conquered Space Mountain at the ripe age of 5!
Thumbs up - we made it threw unscathed...
...or did we? Dad's cheap sunglasses literally cracked under the pressure of Space Mountain's G-Force turns!
Time to slow things down on the Carousel
Mom leads the way to the castle and Frontier Land
Dad & Jordan prep for Thunder Mountain Railroad
The sights and sounds of Magic Kingdom - shows at the castle,
The Jungle Cruise is a staple in Adventure Land and hasn't changed in 30 years,
The Haunted Mansion looms over Independence Square,
and a view of Frontier Land from Tom Sawyer Island
They had to wait 4 days but they finally get their souvenirs
Taylor catches some much needed "Z's" on the shuttle back to the hotel
Rejuvenated and ready for dinner, Taylor shows her sister some love.
Once we were seated, immediately the action kicked off as Cinderella & her mean Step Sisters put on a show. Our waitress briefly mentioned that the girls could try to get a dance and in a flash Taylor got out of her seat and was dancing with Cinderella in the middle of the packed restaurant - she is beaming but it happened so fast that Dad could only get this grainy picture!
The girls can hardly focus with the Princess just a table away
It turned out the mean Step Sisters were pretty nice!
We're all smiles as we ride some of our favorites a second time including It's a Small World
We were lucky to grab curbside seats despite hitting Main Street late for the Electric Parade
This was the girls favorite float
Snow White shows off some moves
The big dragon brought up the rear and just minutes later we closed out the night with a tremendous light show on the castle & fireworks! Magic Kingdom pushed us physically but we got it all in and it was an amazing 2 days!
