After a 2 day trek across the country, the Kalmar family found themselves starting their vacation at Epcot Center. Monday turned out to be the hottest and sunniest day of the week and we didn't see a drop of rain. Epcot also sported the lightest crowd of the 5 days. The girls brought their "A" game and went ride-for-ride with Mom & Dad including Test Track & Mission Space (extreme). We opened and closed the park hitting every ride and show available and enjoyed a good view of the fireworks. We tracked our steps and finished just under 20k for the day. Awesome start to the trip!
Sunday evening we kicked off off the trip with a great meal and a toast in Downtown Disney at Wolfgang Pucks

Shortly after getting through the gates at Epcot, Taylor won the shortest game of "I Spy" ever when she calmly stated, "I Spy Pluto" and we had our first of many pictures with characters

Filling signature books is a big thing here - Taylor gets Minnie's...
...and Chip & Dale add their names - we better start doubling-up!
The meal plan ended up being a real bonanza as we hit it big with our Mexican lunch feast!

Mom did a great job making dinner reservations for the week - it kicked off with the Princess dinner in Norway - this was our first of several meetings with Belle during the week
