I cannot believe my little angels are 5 years old! With all our summer travels their birthday really snuck up on us. They insisted on a Flamingo theme so on the morning of the big day they were welcomed by inflatables and a flamboyance of birds in the backyard. After a fun morning it was time for a trip to Chuck E Cheese to see some friends for lunch. Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner and some gifts and we were ready to call it a day.

Once the weekend arrived we were off to the Colony Splash Park for the 2nd consecutive year and we picked a great day as the August Texas temperature soared into the hundreds. The girls have become much more comfortable in the water and they were anxious to make some waves.
The dollar store inflatables have lasted 3 days!

Our party ended in time for us to see our friends Cash & Cooper for their 5 year party! Unlike our peaceful Flamingo theme the boys was more along the lines of "Sharknado."
