Where did the summer go? Just like that our pool season seems to be winding down and we were walking our big girls into Kindergarten. We go big in Texas so the unofficial start of the school year was a few days ago when the neighborhood moms "kidnapped" the children and met at a local park to start the end of Summer celebration. Later that day families piled into the school to meet the teacher and get a self guided tour of the facility. The weekend flew by and on Monday the twins were picking out their special outfits and adjusting to the expedited morning routine. Anxiety was a little high but we manged to get some great pictures and walked the girls to their rooms to discover what the school had to offer. When it was time to pick them up they were loaded with stories and excited to go back again. What a great day and I'm so proud of our girls for achieving this "Rite of Passage."
