Vaccination and low COVID numbers meant the return of Epic Summer Vacations! We decided to celebrate this with our 1st trip to the Dominican Republic. Precautions remained in the form of masks at the airport and food buffets but that was a small price to pay for a week in paradise. The "Now Onyx" resort in Salvaleon De Higuey was our destination and it delivered amazing views, delicious food, sensational outings, and most importantly - gorgeous weather!

Across the resort was a Waterpark featuring a lazy river, half dozen waterfalls, 4 waterslides, a tunnel, and grotto - we took great advantage of the park and will attest the water slides were legit

Taylor takes on The "Cave Plung" but only Dad challenged the "Xtreme Drop" during the trip - we figured out we liked the Kiddie Slide the most. Notorious for having a long wrap sheet of Waterpark reprimands, after 5 "clean" days at the pool, Dad got whistled the final morning for splashing Jordan when she came off a slide
After long days of fun in the sun, we would clean up and enjoy a variety of cuisines throughout the week - we favored 8pm dinners which gave us plenty of time to model on the way to chow time
