Cabo brought miles of clean desolate beach dotted with luxury resorts and bright sand that was fit to troll. The water was generally rough but there was a "swimmable" beach that we made the most of. The sand was vast and foot traffic light around the resorts. It was a full beach experience with sandcastles, aquatic life, long walks, sunrises, and negotiation of goods with locals!
The Paradisus from the beach
The Hilton next door
The view west of the resort - we were nestled on the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula
Quick - pose before the next wave!
Power - the smashing tide pushes this large stone up the beach
A gracious smile & wave from this bonita chica
High Tide brought pounding waves
Local fisherman took to the beach during the roughest of surf with little more then a coke bottle reel, line, hooks, and bait
One of my favorite pictures of the trip was of this bad ass fisherman balancing on jagged rocks, braving the waves & massive ocean spray
The water was much more manageable "inside the buoys" but the kids still banded together for safety
Thumbs-Up for a morning swim & walk
Taylor rides the waves while Jordan keeps her distance & we built a life sized sand replica of our pal Snickers
We met a nice 13 year old beach dog named "Lilly"
Jordan scouts some horses up the beach - more on that next blog...
