4-Day Birthday Extravaganza

We blinked and the Twins are 9 years old!  The festivities started Friday night with pizza, cake, screaming girls, a "late" trip to The Emoji Movie followed by a sleepover.  Saturday brought a visit from Lone Star Rescue & Snickers, our latest member of the family!  Sunday was more puppy time, while Monday was the actual big day and we celebrated with multiple workouts and meals out.

Late night for the kids & adults
Emoji mania continues as the girls open gifts the next day
Snickers
So 2 weekends ago we went to Pet Smart to get Jordan a Betta Fish - we also met "Snickers" a rescue puppy found abandoned in a Houston park.  We regrettable left without the dog and with the fish (Rosie).  After a family meeting at 5 Guys we ended up submitting an application on-line and 2 weeks later...

The actual birthday fell on Monday - Mom made a special French Toast breakfast and got them to DX3 for their last training session.  Dad took the afternoon off and we all headed out to lunch, opened a final round of gifts, and headed off to The Pit for Soccer Camp.  Dinner at everyone's favorite Mexican restaurant closed out the festivities for another year!

It's a big win for Mom & Dad when we gift artwork over Legos!
The girls have busted their tails with > 40 hours of Soccer, Basketball & Athletic Training during July!  Posing with Cheese & Skittles just prior to their final session at DX3 while later that day Jordan works on her speed around the corner at the Peter Luccin Academy

Where else but La Hacienda for a celebration
Next Blog - Back to Cozumel - it's taking forever to get the underwater pictures back...
