May & June '17

We stayed busy during May & June this year mainly as a distraction from the daily countdown to our family vacation at the end of June.  Activities included a host of school & outdoor events!

Six Flags

The 1st weekend of May we took our 7th trip to Six Flags for the Hilltop Securities family picnic - red was in fashion

Our early Sunday arrival meant short lines & lots of rides - Sky Screamer, Gunslinger, Harley Quinn (2x), Runaway Mine Train & Pandemonium were all conquered before lunch!

Field Day

We love Field Day around here and were psyched to have great weather for the big event.  1st up were the water activities - both Mom & Dad volunteered to keep the events moving and try to keep up with the unquenchable thirst of the participants

"Does anyone have any orange slices?" Taylor looks for relief from the sun before things get serious in the 40 yard dash

Life-long friend Jude Robbins proclaimed Taylor the winner of this closely contested race vs. several boys from class...

...but the day belonged to Jordan who swept 1st place in all 4 of her heats - each progressively more impressive then the last

...desperate competitors even attempted to physically hold her back as she confidently pulled away in the final contest
