August is here and gone - highlights included a Dad staycation, Soccer Camp, Mom's birthday, and crossing off a bunch of items from the summer bucket list!
Beating the heat a bunch of ways - a day the FAC Water Park,
pool date with friends,
and an obnoxiously large backyard water slide!
August means the return of the FSA! All 12 members of the defending Howard Division Champions made it to a full week camp at The Pit. Taylor beams as she just outlasted all her peers in a dribble elimination contest. Not to be outdone, Jordan - won the next session surviving a final match-up against what could only be described as a young male prodigy who we later found out was a member of the coaching staff!
Great Expectations
More bucket list items as Mom & girls enjoy a trip to the Plaster Funhouse
Happy 41st birthday Mom - dinner at PF Chang's was fantastic!
We blinked and summer break was over - J&T are officially 3rd graders
Probably our most anticipated event of August was the family trip to the opening of The Star. High School Football & concession food were on the menu for the evening. The girls potential high school, Wakeland, had a great fan turnout and dominated Liberty in the game. We were all impressed with how easy it was to get in and out of the event, the quality of the facility, and friendliness of staff.

Everyone smiles as we enjoy walking the stadium
Taylor crashes the local "Telemundo" broadcast on Mom's lucky #23
Taylor don't be bored - if you look around you might see Jerry Jones!
Football is way more fun when you find a few friends to cheer with!
