Company Picnic

Mom's part time job delivered a big benefit this year as the family was invited to the annual company picnic at Six Flags Over Texas.  We hit the park just as it opened and enjoyed short ride lines all morning.  A full food spread provided a chance to catch our breath during lunch but we were quickly back in the action for the afternoon.  The girls also got to enjoy the unique experience of getting caught in an absolute downpour as we raced to the car - spawning memories of our departure from Animal Kingdom and an epic Giants/Jets preseason game back in the 80s!

First ride of the morning and we are bright eyed & bushy tailed as we walked on to the mighty "Titan" - Jordan was definitely having 2nd thoughts as we painstakingly climbed the rides 255ft hill!
A couple of Dark Knights in downtown Gotham
Time for some kid rides
Taylor loved the Monster Truck but Jordan felt it was clearly beneath her appetite & aptitude for thrill seeking
Feeling old - we had to explain who the Loony Tune characters were
Time for lunch
Face painting
One of our favorite rides - the Rodeo, we picked up a friend at lunch (Tyler) who rode with Jordan while Mom got to partner with Taylor as she told & retold the story of how she previously had snuck on this ride by standing on her tippy-toes to clear the minimum height requirement

Happy Trails...
