Holiday Season '14

Happy Holidays from North Texas!  This year flew by and December was no exception.  Each year the Holidays become more enjoyable as the girls soak up the joys of the season.  We love our routines and the Holidays bring many including the yearly arrival from "Dotti" (Elf on a Shelf), decorating, visits with Santa, checking out lights, and of course - gift giving!
Jordan & Taylor enjoy a morning cup of holiday cheer as Dotti peeks in from above
We're so lucky to have 2 full sized trees now!
Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like a Detroit Tigers ornament
The tree looks awesome girls!
We made a list (checked it twice) of fun holiday outings and managed to hit them all!

The weather wasn't cooperating at the yearly HOA holiday event, but in what could be considered nothing short of a Christmas miracle, the rains subsided and the party went on as planned -

The season would not be complete without a holiday performance and Jordan's class delivered!

A long standing tradition in the house is the annual Sister Gift Exchange.  The girls have a history of getting each other the same gifts. This year was no different as Taylor celebrates a Beanie Boo -
and so does Jordan
The first of 3 rounds of gift giving commenced Christmas Eve with a visit from Grandma & Grandpa - the girls show off some chocolates from their Stockings

Round 2 of gift unwrapping - Christmas morning
Round 3 - Gifts from our out of town family - there is something from each Michigan Kalmar in this picture
Showing off some of their favorites - Legos...
...IPad Mini's (w/cool cases!) and check out the new gear compliments of Santa!
Mom channels her inner Elton John on the keyboard while the girls supply the dance moves
Christmas afternoon was all about building Legos so we were off to the Media Room to have at it - Jordan & Taylor were "Master Builders"

Playing Clue on Family Game Night - Mom suffered from "Premature Accusation" in both games only to be corrected by Dad who closed out both cases with the same perp - Col Mustard
From our family to yours - Happy Holidays
See you in 2015!
