Day 5 of our Disney vacation brought us to Hollywood Studios! By now it feels like a "long time ago in a state far, far away." Our timing couldn't have been better as it was the last Star Wars weekend of the year! We once again enjoyed "Magic Hours" and ensured we made it to the park bright & early to get a leg up on some activities. We hit some rides early - but the day for us really revolved around some great shows and the chance to meet some of our favorite Star Wars characters. We were surprised that the crowds were reasonable for such an event. Our lunch break at Mama Melrose was arguably our best meal of the week and also secured us VIP seating for the amazing Fantasmic show at the end of the night - followed by our 3rd and favorite firework show of the vacation, which also had a Star Wars theme. It was a great way to end an amazing week!
We hit several big rides as the gates opened - there was much talk amongst the girls about the Tower of Terror as it can be seen clearly from the main road, Buena Vista Drive - would they dare get on?
We were lucky to get front row seats and enjoyed a great view of the park from the Tower! As you can see both Jordan & Taylor (and several other small children) were coerced, I mean ventured on! We are happy to say all left the ride exhilarated but agreed not to do it again!

With the rides conquered we head to Echo Lake to meet some characters and cash in our Star Tours Fast Pass

Just like that the Disney trip was over - what an action packed week! Next stop - Jacksonville!
