Spring Soccer Yearbook '14

The girls second Soccer season has just come to a close and all we can say is "wow"!  The Dolphins increased their win total and finished the season tearing through the U6 division with 7 consecutive wins.  Jordan and Taylor raised their play to be in game factors on this surging squad.  Rumor has it Dad will join the coaching staff for the Fall campaign as the team will graduate to a larger field and 10 player roster.  Saturday mornings have never been so fun!

Taylor & Jordan buddy up with the Frisco High mascot at a Soccer camp way back before Christmas!

Co-ed - no problem - Taylor faces off against a male counterpart at camp
The girls immediately found something in common with these 2 mentors - named Jordan & Taylor!
Acting as Team Captain, Taylor chooses a goal to defend in the season opener vs. the Sparks
Jordan gets escorted down the field by half the team roster
Jordan clears the ball from deep in our end vs. the Pink Panthers
From time to time Taylor ends up on the ground in these games
Jordan eyes up an empty net with just one opponent to beat
Jordan playing on the "balls of her feet"
Jordan breaks free against the Little Eagles
Jordan goes airborne to get to a loose ball
Taylor "posterizes" an opponent and keeps her knees high
Taylor won this race to the ball and buried it in the net shortly after
The game against the Grass Fairies was a frustrating one for the Twins as Jordan fights traffic close to the goal...
...and Taylor just missed on getting to this loose ball in front of an empty goal
Taylor opened a flood gate of goals after she blasted this loose ball into the net (at a tough angle) & < 1 minute into the game against the Lil Wildcats
Then this happened - what I consider the best picture of the season, Taylor leads a March Madness type celebration after her early game success

Jordan works the ball up the sideline despite being surrounded by opponents
Taylor being a great teammate - her right hand points the way as she feeds a great pass to Clair that converts into a score vs. the Wild Things
Jordan looks to make a defensive play vs. the Grape Crush
You can barely see Jordan in this picture but she out maneuvered # 7...
...and celebrated her goal with a hug from Coach
Jordan goes behind the back of #10 in the season finale vs. The Sparks
The Twins close in on defense forcing a long shot that missed wide
The girls enjoy a post game celebration with "Flower" - Taylor looking the professional athlete part with some major arm artwork.  Great season girls - we loved every second of it!
We'll be back in the Fall!
