Spring Break '26 - "3/18 - Today Was a Good Day"

March 18th was a banner day on all accounts, even on the lofty "vacation" scale - what made it so great?

We had the normal staples - hanging out & walking on the beach...

...and even some water aerobics
After a day of that (and more), we made the short walk to the Marina for what has become a vacation tradition...the sunset cruise - we kicked it off as we always do, with a mixed drink and family picture
Views as we left the Marina for the Pacific...

Pirate ship racing to the sunset
Views of downtown Puerto Vallarta...

Group pic and an odd photo bomb over Dad's shoulder
The saxophone music sets the mood as the sun starts to drop
Despite being late in the season, the cruise turned into a 30-minute Whale Watch as we spotted a Humpback & her calf near the shore...
...showing up all around the boat

The Whales took off minutes before sundown, turning our attention back to photo ops
Everyone gets their picture taken with the sunset

Celebrating the sunset with a shot of Taquila (and more photo bombs)

The sky glows as we head back into the Marina
If the Sunset Cruise was the appetizer, then the King of Pop was the Main Course
After, at best, a "shaky" 2025 performance, the Michael Jackson show was back with a vengeance!  The 2026 show is nominated for "Most Improved," and one spectator was overheard saying, "The King of Pop" lives!
Pictures of people taking videos of Michael
Michael made his way into the audience several times & all the girls ended up on stage for "Black or White"

Days later we were at the airport headed home and back to reality
Spring Break Senior trip is over & we were cool enough to host!
