3 weeks of work & school vacation in November/December creates lots of opportunity to get out & about - here's how we filled the time...
A Thanksgiving week trip to the Gaylord hotel led to pictures...

Black Friday and we were back at the Star (once again) for Wakeland playoff football - 1 full month after the regular season ended - Wakeland vs Highland Park
...and Avatar just before Christmas...
...where we sported cool 3D glasses!
We snagged some cool pictures of Dak Prescott practicing with the Cowboys at the Star during a random appointment with a great view
Preston Hollow Church is well-known holiday spectacular - we remembered to get a picture & Dad photo-bombed Santa as he made his way through the crowd
It was an impressive production that culminated with the arrival of the 3 Wise Men to close out the "Greatest Story Ever Told"
We experienced amazing weather right around Christmas with 70-80 degree temperatures - in a moment of spontaneity, we headed to the Ft Worth Stockyards for the Cattle Drive...
...Wild West show...
...and lunch at local landmark Joe T Garcia's (better bring cash)
Just days before ringing in the New Year, we headed to The Galleria Mall to check out Netflix House and tried our hand at Squid Game
Anticipation as we awaited our gaming fate & we got our player #s!

Taylor & Dad both schooled the competition in Paper, Rock, Scissors minus one

Mom & Taylor survive Round 1 / Taylor shows her Squid Game prowess by grabbing the win (People say she's pretty friendly so she does alright in these kind of things)
We made it to the banquet dinner...
...where the Front Man made an appearance
Dad tries to get a Front Man selfie but the convenient placement of a blinding light spoiled the shot
On to the VIP lounge, where we could watch others take on Red Light / Green Light and check out show artifacts
