Halloween Weekend '25

Happy Halloween from North Texas!  It was not a traditional one for us - Wakeland Football had its final regular season game of the season, which had us heading to the Star to watch Taylor and the Wakeland Band do their thing!  

Jordan & Thomas dress as "The Joker" & head to a party while Snickers was on his best behavior after getting "Roofied" 

Heading into the game, we passed the Omni hotel, where the University of Miami (The-U) was staying before their match-up with SMU - it was a trick on Miami, who lost in OT to the Mustangs! 

Wakeland vs. Sherman was a snooze fest, but we rode it out to see the Band do their full set at halftime!

The next day at high noon, we found ourselves in Melissa for the UIL Regional Championship - Wakeland won the competition and punched their ticket to the State Championship in San Antonio!  We are all psyched to make our 3rd trip South in as many years!
