College Visit 1.0 - Texas Tech

2025 got off to a great start as we took to the open road and headed west to Lubbock! After a desolate 5-hour ride, highlighted by the 3 C's (cows, cacti, & cotton fields)—we arrived at Texas Tech University for J&T's first official college visit.

Quintessential snapshot at a well-known landmark on the East side of campus
Winter break made for a shortage of students and a surplus of migrating Grackles
How lucky is Taylor?  Twice in 6 months, she has got hit with bird poop (ironically both times while traveling)

We made it to the tour ahead of the early 8am start with plenty of time for photos

Multiple tour groups maneuver their way through campus
Landmarks include -  Jones AT&T Stadium
West Hall
Jerry S. Rawls College of Business
Statue of Texas Legislator Preston Smith
We even remembered to take a family picture
The next round of College visits is in February as we head North to Oklahoma & Oklahoma State!
