Twinsmania!: Halloween to the Holidays

Gone too fast - 2017 was a banner year for us and we hope to keep it going. Looking forward to kicking off a new year and here is how we closed out '17...

Fairways Fall Festival - it's always good to see our HOA dues put to good use - J&T enjoy a delicious Slider with friend Ava and later Jordan scores a Pony ride

Halloween - it was tough to plan for Halloween this year as the local "experts" confidently & repeatedly predicted a wash out days prior to the actual event. The rain storms were not to be and we happily took clouds with low 50s temps & found some friends to walk with.

Purefoy Fun Run - Mom took on one of the biggest PTA projects of the year - the Fun Run. We are happy to report that the event was a hit and surpassed 25k in fundraising!

Dallas Legends Game - Being on the PTA Board has it's privileges like scoring pro bono tickets for headline sporting events. After dinner at 5 Guys we arrived at Dr Pepper Arena for our 1st Legends game - our seats were great as were the plays on & off the court - none better then when Taylor snagged a t-shirt that had been fired into the crowd!

Thanksgiving- We started the day with the 1st annual Snickers Turkey Trot. We hit the golf course early and let the beast off his leash!

Out & About - With several weeks off we found ourselves with lots of free time to fill with fun activities like -

taking long dog walks,

kicking around in downtown Frisco,

we found a big tree & a mysterious pile of snow in Frisco Square,

A trip to the "Gift of Christmas"

Multiple movies - we kicked off the season with Thor Ragnarok...

...and came back for The Last Jedi (Thor was better!)

Time for some traditions like holiday baking,

a visit with Santa & Mrs Klaus at the Fairways Pavilion,

and documented proof we went to church on Christmas Eve!

Snickers cooperated with all the festivities & spent most the morning distracted by a new chew toy

Off to the Mall for some post holiday shopping - the goal was to score some cases for J&T's new I-Pod Touches & half price calendars! We were successful getting both!

Time for a day out at the local Bowling Alley - The girls far exceeded our expectations in bowling and tallied several Strikes & Spares during the afternoon. We even dabbled in some games of chance and enjoyed a high energy round of Laser Tag before we headed out!
