4th of July - Columbus Day '17

A busy Summer & Fall has me behind on the blog - let's get caught up

4th of July is good for Pool Parties & Cookouts - we did both

...more pool time

Dad's favorite summer activity is a sunset bike ride through the Trails Golf Course.  We enjoyed many rides in which we saw rabbits, snakes, turtles, exotic foul, and even a bobcat on the 13th Hole - 

Jordan & Taylor pose by one of the many water stations on the cart path.  An unwritten rule of the road is that we must stop at all of them.   Rumor has it Dad exchanged greetings with a Dallas Cowboys player who was having a kickin' back yard party during one of these epic weekend rides... 

Time to work - both girls worked out all of July in daily Athletic Training & Soccer camps.  Jordan works the ropes as "Cheese" looms in the background

Taylor works her lats & gluets - the hard work would payoff as she would establish herself as the soccer teams strongest leg eventually handling Penalty, Corner, and Goal Kicking duties by the end of the season 

The close of July always brings the birthday milestone - it's a tradition filled experience, none more enjoyed then buying gifts for each other 

Caryn & kids had a chance to get some fresh country air in August and made the most of it 

Taylor is our resident fish & loves her some water sports

Jordan won the fishing tournament and outlasted all the neighborhood kids- the nights were great for Ghost Stories, Bonfires, and S'mores 

Our last weekend outing of Summer was a trip to Top Golf with friends

Columbus Day weekend we enjoyed a trip to the State Fair of Texas!  Mom & Dad rode the Ferris Wheel and nothing else - the girls were a bit more adventurous
