We manged to stay busy the entire month of April despite a troubling pattern of bogus (and not so bogus) weather forecasts creating as much disruption as possible!
Early in the month and we started the first weekend with a 10am kickoff at the Prosper vs. Highland Park State Playoff game - high winds and bright sun punctuated a competitive match between the big girls who were #1 and # 2 in the state!
Our new favorite hobby is bike riding and we have been tearing up the Frisco Trails - We generally end up at a park and on this day the girls were more interested in the workout equipment then the playground
Easter came late this year but we still managed to color eggs...
...and Taylor flashes her million dollar smile as Dad shells one
Happy Easter
It has been about 50/50 on whether we get outside for the annual egg hunt but this year was dry
What do you do when your Soccer game gets rained out? You go ice skating! 2 kinds of selfies when you hit the ice!
This was supposed to be a kickin' Crawfish Boil & pool party but cold temps and rain eliminated the best part - which unfortunately just left some crustaceans to boil - Jordan looks in the cooler to find hundreds of the doomed creatures
Both handle the dinner favors
Dad & Taylor were not into the menu so after some careful planning they bailed on the party and made a "run for the border"
Lots of school events in April - Mom leads the Earth Day event
Taylor shows off some of her work on her school PC and later presents to a full auditorium on the importance of a clean environment
Purefoy Carnival - The Carnival got moved inside because of a 100% chance of a rainapocolypse that never came - but that did not keep us from face painting!
Looking great with the face paint while Taylor almost face plants making a tight stop in the "cake walk"
Ball toss - well timed pictures of both girls hitting the bulls eye!
Last day of the month and 4 of the Soccer Mom's get together to see teammate Baylie as a Lion Cub in The Lion King
So how did the Dolphins do this Spring anyway? Find out next blog...
