The first stop was Key West, Florida where we enjoyed a really sunny & hot day. We probably did a little too much walking around the area as we starting hearing complaints of "sore feet" from the masses. Some of the highlights were the unique historic buildings (including Ernest Hemingway's former home), a photo at the Southern Most Point of the country, and lots of interactions with "protected" Roosters that owned the streets.

Sights included beautiful homes,
Barnacle covered cars,
geographic landmarks,
Our next stop was Nassau, Bahamas. We were greeted yet again with gorgeous weather and amazing scenery. Once we docked we took a ride in another boat en route to a secluded beach where we swam and had an memorable Dolphin interaction.
As the ship pulled in we got a great view of the Atlantis Beach Resort
On our ride to Blue Lagoon Island we passed some great potential 2nd homes
Finally - the Beach!
Jordan & Taylor making the most of the inflatables!
After lunch we headed to the Dolphin Encounter which completely exceeded our high expectations!

Nice catch & a 1 year old calf
The handlers provided great insight which added to the experience. There was also the opportunity to observe Seas Lions...
...but they spent most the time sparing with each other
After an "active & loud" boat ride back to the Cruise ship our sights were set on Castaway Cay the next day - for beach lovers like us this was our most anticipated day of the trip! We got a full day at Disney's private beach island and made the most of it, disembarking the boat before 9am and returning until just before dinner. The weather did not disappoint as we were welcomed with our sunniest day of the week. The beach sand was clean, soft, deep and bursting with shells. We enjoyed lots of swimming, water slides, sand castles, and a scenic mid day bike tour.

Great view of the beach & ship
The sun sets on what was a picture perfect day
The Cruise is long gone now but the great memories are not forgotten - 2015 was a banner year for vacations and we are excited for what the new year may hold for us!
