Happy Halloween from soggy North Texas! Mather Nature let up just in time for us to enjoy some Trick or Treating with neighborhood friends. We had a Cheetah (Jordan) & Panda (Taylor) this year. Mom & Dad promised to walk the walk all night if the girls could keep up and that's exactly what we did while amassing mountains of candy with neighborhood friends!
We got into the spooking spirit early this year at a Halloween themed birthday party
What do you do on a rainy day? Carve Pumpkins!
Dig in!
The day before Halloween, Taylor's class got to do the Good Morning Purefoy performance - she delivered her lines about safely crossing the road and later danced to the Monster Mash
After the performance we got a bonus surprise when Jordan got to accept the Golden Shoe Award for her class - it's awarded to the top gym class!
Halloween got off to a dicey start this year with heavy rains overnight and lingering showers in the morning. Things cleared up just before lunch and we were happy the girls were able to participate in a golf cart parade at Grandma & Grandpa's neighborhood
Teamwork: Taylor rode in a cart and handed out treats while Jordan focused on on collecting candy
Mom & Dad got lazy with the camera so we only got a handful of pics from trick or treating. We were lucky to have some friends from school join us for the night. Our efforts were a huge success as we all brought home record quantities of sweets!
Best friends survive the scariest house on the block!
Happy Halloween!
