Halloween '14

Happy Halloween from North Texas!  We were excited to have the freedom of a Friday night to maximize the experience.  After months of debate the costume choices were made - Jordan was a Mermaid and Taylor a Cheetah.  We kicked the Halloween week off with some messy Pumpkin carving on the patio.  After a long week of waiting the big night was here.  It started at the neighborhood pavilion where a mass of children gathered as the sun set - for the record, Elsa from Frozen was the most popular costume of the evening.  Finally we were off to enjoy the spoils of the night!

Mom & Jordan get their hands messy making a ghost
Taylor reaches in to get a handful of Pumpkin guts
 Masterpiece complete!
Jack O' Lanterns light up the night
We even remembered to take a family picture!
Taylor warms-up at the playground prior to the marathon - that's our friend Ava from the Soccer team dressed as one of the many Elsa's of the evening
Hope the neighborhood is ready for all these kids - Jordan & Taylor squeezed right into the center of the shot
We ran into this hot dog along the way
It was great to see another Dolphins teammate, Savannah, cruising the neighborhood (that's also another Elsa in the shot)
Both Jordan & Taylor proved that they "ain't afraid of no ghosts!"

Great night - the girls showed endless energy and we walked for close to 3 hours!  We have enough candy to make it to next Halloween!
