After 2 great days in San Antonio we were sad to be headed home. But we squeezed a few more hours out of the trip with a surprise stop at the San Antonio Zoo! The girls pounced out of the car and sped to the gate to see another round of animals. We weren't disappointed as the zoo housed a wide variety of creatures in some comfortable enclosures, including an incredible African exhibit. Another day of light crowds made for some great posing shots and fun at the petting zoo! After 3 hours of stretching our legs we decided to pack up but not before remembering a family photo! The zoo visit was the icing on the cake to a great week!
