The Olympics are on so it must be the girls 4th birthday! Watching Micheal Phelps win gold medals the past week has brought back memories of feeding our infant twins overnight and watching the games "live" from Beijing at 3am 4 years ago. Here in Frisco, the past week has been an Olympic Decathlon of birthday events! It started with a birthday celebration at the house. The girls rolled in balloons and open a round of gifts. One of those gifts was a trip to Build-a-Bear where they brought new friends to life. After more Mall fun the traditional birthday luncheon was a true Mexican feast at Christina's. The girls had to wait until the 4th for their birthday party but it served to be well worth that wait as 50 of our friends and family met at the Colony Splash-Park! The party was a "rainbow" theme and even the cupcakes were baked with exceptional attention to detail (see above). No kids party is complete without pizza and a round of "Happy Birthday." It was a blast opening all the awesome gifts and they will keep the girls busy for a long time! The weekend was a great time and I can't believe our little girls are 4 years old!

The girls have enjoyed a refurbished room this summer. New beds, paint, linens, and decor including a repainted dresser and fairy painting.
