Lions, Tigers & Bears...Oh My!

It's been a gorgeous spring in North Texas and that has opened the door to some great animal outings in April! First up was Denton's famous Sharkarosa Ranch. This was a hands on outing as most the animals were available for petting. We rode the animal trolley the girls even made time for the kids wild barrel ride. A picnic lunch rounded out the afternoon after a great family day. Later in the week we were off to the Ft Worth Zoo which is self proclaimed to be one of the top 5 in the country! The girls were so over stimulated they didnt know which way to go or what to do first! Jordan ended up taking the map and we were off. It was non stop animal action and we of course made time for a picnic lunch! There were a few close calls and we were happy that there was glass to seperate us from the creatures! All good things must come to an end and before we knew it we were headed home talking about the great day we all had! Below you'll see the girls pet a baby Kangeroo they named "Joey"
