The Walking Dead have invaded Frisco! The Kalmar family had big plans for this week as Dad was off from work. But unseasonably rainy weather and a vicious Strep A illness for Dad put a real dent in our plans for a great week (and great blog material). A routine trip to the Frisco mall changed all that...
Things began to fall into place as we selected a parking lot that we never park at. As we drove up the aisle Dad spotted a stumbling walk that he had only seen on TV or read about in the several books(Zombie Survival Guide & World War Z). Before he knew it the Honda Pilot was surrounded by the living dead! Somehow he always knew we would go out this way - victims of the undead, food for zombies! We all breathed a sigh of relief when we saw the "Walking Dead" television truck and realized this was just an elaborate advertisement for AMC's hit television show - Season 2 premier Sunday Night, October 23rd. Just minutes later the Kalmar Family was accepting cupcakes, wristbands, and stickers from the ghouls and we even snapped a few pictures to remember the experience.

Keep your distance!

Flesh eating corpse close-up.

A false alarm - however this experience showed us that we should all be better prepared for the pending zombie apocalypse! Taylor made the smart choice and stayed away from this photo shoot.
