Road Trip

We decided on our first family road trip! San Antonio here we come!! I tried to talk up the LONG (5 hours) car trip with the girls and they promised they were ready.... UGH it was a LONG car trip... But once we got there they had so much fun.



Rest area for lunch -- there was even an play area! greatest rest area ever ;)


Brian couldn't wait to share his love of the Alamo with them ... they were more intersted in the birds and leaves.


Here we are on a boat ride on the river! We also ate dinner on the riverwalk and took a walk up and down each side. Seems a lot different when you are there with kids lol



After a night in a hotel we headed over to Sea World. The girls were beyond excited! They both "love" whales and dolphins

Sesame Street Place just opened, so we got to meet all of their favorite characters. Here they are with Cookie Monster!


We had such a great time we decided to not stay another night and drive home after Sea World. The girls had no nap, a full day of fun, but they still argued over which movie to watch on the way home... Neither of them fell asleep until 9ish, we were home by 930 haha. Memories!
