Heard Museum!

Ahh - the weekend before the Super Bowl comes to North Texas and the weather could not have been better! A sunny 75 degree Saturday paved the way to a trip to McKinney's Heard Museum and its "world famous" dinosaur walk! The girls ditched the stroller and chose to walk the winding mile long trail - all the while interacting with a variety of mechanical (shh - don't spoils the secret, they were fooled!) dinosaurs. Can you say Rrrrroooaaaarrrr!?!?! We were all tired from the long walk and enjoyed a picnic lunch before heading home for an afternoon power-nap. The fun wasn't over as we got a chance to spend the afternoon at the park and Jordan went up and down the slide countless times while Taylor threw wood chips in the air! That winter break is over as a wintry mix is in the forecast and some of the coldest temperatures Dallas has seen in 10 years!
