Thankful

So the week leading up to Thanksgiving I wasn't feeling very thankful. We found out our car needed major repair (or so we thought, more on that later), but more importantly poor Taylor had a fever that she couldn't get rid of. Wednesday the pediatrition told us to come in and the poor thing had an ear infection. She had also been fighting a cold and was wheezing from the chest congestion. She is now on antibiotics and breating treatments for the next couple of days, and is improving every day! Here she is getting a treatment with Dad on Thanksgiving day...

(Bonnie check out the jammies!)

Thanksgiving day and night was pretty low key. We didn't even get a family picture... Taylor wasn't really feeling that well and we all just felt bad for her. They did however have a slumber party over at Grandma and Grandpa's for the night (which they love) so Brian and I could hit the Black Friday sales!!

Once we found out we didn't need a new car (after a day of car shopping, a 2nd opinion and $150 later...) we decided to go on a shopping spree! We were on a mission for a new dishwasher, I know exciting!! I dropped Brian off at Sears at 1:30a and he waited in the 32degree weather (the night before the low was 65?!?!) until 4a when they opened, and we scored ourselves a new dishwasher 55% off!! and they even came to install it the next day!! Go Sears! While he was freezing his you know what off I was fighting the crowds at Toys R Us. WOW! I couldn't belive the amount of people there. Anything for a good deal right? At 4:30a we were in line at our next destination, Sams Club... What are we getting there? Electronics of course, oh and their free breakfast, coffee and muffins. A new TV and Blu Ray player for the bedroom! Then back to the mall for the door busters at Bath and Body works, JC Penney and the Body Shop... Can you tell we were really into it :) Anyways now our bedroom looks like Toys R Us threw up all over, we have enough bath and body products for a year and there are two too many TVs for me... Yes we are getting rid of one!

After the crazy week and lack of sleep I have now come down with the dreaded sickness... Keep your fingers crossed for Jordan and Brian so far they are good.

Anyways, although the week started off ho hum, I am always so thankful for the great family I have, wonderful husband, amazing daughters, great friends and good health, what more could a girl want! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Bring on Christmas!!!!
